This My First Polydron Gear set is the ideal set to introduce your early years to STEM concepts and the use of gears and to give young aspiring builders a chance to test their skills! Children can easily clip together pieces and build their own custom models and insert each gear into the squares. As your children turn one gear, they can see the rest of the gears move clockwise and anticlockwise and learn about the basics of physics for themselves.
Our My First Polydron gear set contains 36 pieces in total and includes 5 frame squares, 13 squares with 4 holes to insert gears into and 18 gears in two colours. Each gear fits perfectly together on a flat surface and even at an angle of 90 degrees, which opens up the opportunity for your children to build some unique structures.
Each piece is large and bright coloured, making them easy to grab and see whilst also being less likely to get lost within your classroom/learning setting.
Once your children are done playing with this polydron set, simply clean the set using an alcohol-based sanitiser and the set is all ready to use for the next person.
