Imaginative Play

Imaginative Play or dramatic play, is a method of learning where a child can explore their imagination as they engage in “pretend play” roles and actions. This lets us see how they react to the environment and the world around them, it is also a great way for children to encounter “real life” experiences in a safe environment. Our Imaginative Play resources will encourage children to navigate these new scenarios and help to introduce new roles and responsibilities, all of which supports problem solving, cognitive development and emotional development.

Whether children are pretending to tuck their baby dolls into toy rocking cradles, crowning themselves king in a castle playhouse or acting as Princess in a wooden fortress. We’re sure to have the best imaginative play supplies for schools and home learning. Would you like to teach the responsibilities of cooking in the kitchen? Or how about learning how to clean?
