Early Years Resources feature a collection of paint for children suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities – from finger paint for the youngest children, to craft and fabric paints for more adept young artists. Powder colour is available in individual colours and an assortment pack. Ever-popular ready mixed paint, or tempera paint, may also be purchased as individual colours or in a number of assortments that include skin tones paint, glitter paint, metallic paint and fluorescent paint. In addition to classroom essentials you will also find paints that are suitable for design technology projects, textile creations and specialised paints for marbling. We also offer washable solutions, including innovative washable paint granules, tempera blocks, watercolour paints, acrylic paint and aerosol spray paint.

To complement our range of paint for children, we also stock an extensive range of paintbrushes, including wash brushes and decorators’ brushes that are particularly suitable for outdoor art; non-spill water pots; mixing palettes and paint trays. To ensure that children’s clothing is protected during painting and messy play activities, Early Years Resources provide a range of children’s aprons, coveralls, PVC tabards and waterproof smocks plus adult nylon and disposable aprons. Waterproof table coverings and wipe-clean splash mats are also available to protect surfaces when paint, glue, modeling clay etc. is in use.

Early Years Resources’ extensive selection of children’s painting easels cater for numerous indoor and outdoor classroom requirements. Our transparent easels are a popular choice for outdoor classroom use as they are durable but light to transport and paint can be applied directly to the wipe-clean, clear plastic painting surface (also making it easy for children to paint what they see). In addition to these metal framed easels you will also find traditional wooden easels, plastic easels, easels with dry-wipe and magnetic boards and compact tabletop easels. For classrooms with limited space, several Early Years Resources’ easels fold flat for storage whilst for shared use, or outdoor art, others have castors and integral storage for paint and paper. We also offer paint drying racks that will hold up to A2 size paper and either fold flat for storage or are mounted on castors. In addition, a space-saving, wall-mounted paint dryer is available plus a spring-loaded dryer which has hinged shelves to allow easy access.
