Modern Foreign Languages

Modern foreign languages (MFL) teaches children at an early age to be more receptive and less inhibited. It can increase their confidence and enhance a child's cognitive development. 

At Early Years Resources we have range of primary modern foreign languages resources for teaching French and Spanish. Our range of MFL teaching resources is designed to support the teaching of languages for Early Years and Primary age pupils. Our MFL resources are also cross-curricular, covering skills in ICT, literacy, numeracy, geography, PSHE and art. 

We have display resources with posters and a calendar wall hanging in both languages. as well as a range of teaching resources. Our range of French-English and Spanish-English bi-lingual books uses simple sentences to expand children’s vocabulary. We also offer a selection of colorful and appealing word books and flashcards.
