Nice to See You at the TES Exhibition

The TES Resources exhibition gave us a great opportunity to meet new and long established customers. Our main intention was to show visitors to our stand a  small selection of products out of the thousands that we include in our catalogue and on our website. Early Years Resources in Germany

Our continuing search for exciting and innovative new products for the 2013 Early Years Resources catalogue has taken us to the toy fair in Nuremberg. This involves trawling 17 halls, each about the size of  an exhibition hall at the NEC in Birmingham. It beats having to teach a class of 35 on a wet Friday afternoon but it isn’t quite as glamorous as one might expect and boy is it hard on the legs and feet (four and a half days of more or less continuous walking on carpet!).... Finding new products isn’t child’s play!

This week we make our annual visit to the London Toy Fair. This is always an interesting and surprisingly challenging excursion. The problem with toy fairs is, well, the toys…. cute, cuddly toys; noisy, irritating toys; menacing, aggressive toys and dozens of toys that have been designed purely to ride TV or blockbuster bandwagons and part hectored parents from their inflation-diminished cash.
