Create a Christmas Character Card
Send thoughtful and unique Christmas wishes this year with these wonderfully fun DIY Christmas Character Cards. An ideal festive craft project for children this Christmas. Simply follow the instructions below to make your own Christmas Character Christmas Card.
Art materials you will need:
How to make these Christmas Character Cards:
- To make a triangle template for the card, simply fold a piece of card (12cm x 16cm) in half. Draw a diagonal line across the middle from opposite corners to make a tall triangle, then cut along the line and open out the card.
- Fold a piece of A4 coloured card in half. Place the triangle template along the fold (so it’s positioned at an angle) then draw around the edge. Cut it out to make the folded triangular card shape.
- Cut out card or felt shapes then stick onto the card for a hat and other details. Stick googly eyes or sticky eyes onto the face.
- Glue a pompom to the top of the hat and leave to dry.
Top Tip: To make your own pompom, wind a 60cm piece of wool around 2 fingers into series of loops, slide the wool off your fingers, tie another piece of wool around the middle then snip across the loops on both sides. Trim the edges and fluff up the wool into a pompom.
