Instructions for your Mummy Pen Pots:

  1. Glue some white card around the outside of a coffee can, to cover up the writing! Add a rectangle of black card near the top of the can.
  2. Glue some googly eyes onto the black card.
  3. Cut out the arm shapes from white card and fold over the ends. Glue them onto the can.
  4. Cut strips of white fabric and wrap them around the can, gluing as you go. Tie the ends with knots, and pull the edges of the fabric to make them frayed.

Hints and Tips: Younger children may find it easier to wrap the arms in fabric before gluing them onto the can. It is important to use cans with plastic lids, as these do not have sharp edges.
