Paper Tube Christmas Tree Crafts

Make this festive Christmas Tree made out of paper tubes with the children and encourage some Christmas Creativity! Read the simple instructions below to get started:

Art Materials You Will Need:

STEP 1: Gather together the cardboard tubes. You could use kitchen roll tubes or thinner tubes from rolls of tin foil. Cut the tubes into decreasing lengths so that they form a tree-shape when placed together. Cut a final short length for the tree trunk.

STEP 2: Cover all the tubes (except the short trunk length) with green card. Alternatively, paint the tubes green then let them dry.

STEP 3: Next, take the last tube reserved for the tree trunk and cover it with brown card.

STEP 4: Assemble the tree shape by gluing the tubes together. Leave the
glue to dry completely before moving.

STEP 5:Decorate your Christmas tree with small glittery star shapes.

STEP 6: To finish, cut a short length of gold cord. Fold the cord in half then glue (or tape) it to the top of the tree to create a hanging loop.
