How to Make Lolly Stick Tree Decorations

Step 1:

Pick your favourite Christmas character, we used Santa for our tutorial but you can make Rudolph, an Elf or Frosty the Snowman.

Step 2:

Using a pencil, mark lines for a face and Santa’s belt. Colour each section accordingly with our paint sticks.

Step 3:

Using a piece of paper cut out a hat for Santa, colour it in red and repeat with gold to make a belt buckle and stick to the lolly stick to secure.

Step 4:

Using white felt, cut out a beard for Santa and add a pom-pom to Santa’s hat. Stick both down to secure in place.

Step 5:

Draw on Santa’s eyes and a big smile.

Step 6:

Next, begin to wrap a pipe cleaner around the body making two arms. We used a pencil to curl Santa’s arms into different shapes.

Step 7:

Add a ribbon and your lolly stick decoration is ready to hang from the Christmas tree.
