KS2 Literacy Resources from EYR

Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Literacy Resources

Early Years Resources have recently launched a new range of KS2 Literacy products and they’ve been received enthusiastically by our customers.

With an aim to help you meet the challenges and demands of today’s English curriculum, our Key Stage 2 Literacy resources will help develop key skills in communication; equipping your pupils with a strong command of spoken and written language and nurturing a love of literature.

Our collection of resources covers key areas of KS1 and KS2 English, including:

Traditional Tales and Storytelling

Speaking and Listening

Words and Wordbuilding

Reading and Comprehension

Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar

We have left no book unread to bring you a handpicked selection of fiction, poetry, graphic and timeless classics, to excite and encourage young readers. We’d also like to shout about the Engage Literacy, book banded reading programme, great as a standalone or a perfect supplement to your existing schemes. This award winning set combines levelled, high interest fiction and nonfiction books with appealing text types, engaging artwork and stimulating photographs.

Because we know it’s not easy to excite about the technicalities of the English language, we’ve tracked down a great supporting cast of resources to support the teaching of these finer points. We’re particularly proud of our Story Cubes and Story Spinners, just the thing to put the creative back in writing.

At EYR we pride ourselves on our expertise and experience within education, with many of our staff coming from a teaching background. This means we understand the challenges teachers face with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and all of our products, whether developed in-house or sourced from carefully selected 3rd party suppliers, are chosen by teachers for teachers.
