Autumn & Winter Festivals Catalogue Now Out

Early Years Resources are excited to be sharing with you all our winter festivals range. We have everything you could need from Halloween to Advent to Chinese New Year.

The first religious event in the autumn educational calendar is going to be Divali which will be held on 13th November. Divali  also known as the festival of lights is the most important festivals of the year for Hindus. Traditionally Hindu families will spend this time in their homes performing traditional activities together.

Diwali commemorates the return of Lord Rama from his 14-year-long exile and vanquishing the demon-king Ravana. Our We love Divali book shows an engaging introduction of this celebration and explains the true meaning and traditions behind this important Hindu festival.

Next up will be Advent a time of year that all children love from waking up each morning to open the window of their Advent Calendars through to getting ready for the preparation of the all important Nativity, through Nativity Scenes and Nativity plays children will be introduced to the story of Christmas.

Why not let us know how you will be celebrating Divali or what brilliant Advent activities you will participating in….
