Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our site and look though the pages, change the quantity from zero to any quantity you need, go to the bottom of the page then place your entire selection from that page into your shopping basket.

Although the greatest care is taken to ensure that product descriptions are accurate, colour and product details cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to change without prior notice.
Special Offers/Special Prices
Offers throughout our catalogue are not available to purchase via our website. To obtain special offers/prices you must place your order via telephone, email, fax or post, quoting the special offer catalogue reference number. The catalogue reference number must be quoted to obtain the special offer price.
Placing an order with Early Years Resources constitutes an agreement to our terms and conditions.
Product Descriptions
Early Years Resources aim to ensure all product pictures and descriptions are accurate. Colours and product details may however be subject to change without prior notice.
Product Prices
Prices quoted supersede all previous catalogue prices. Every effort will be made to maintain the prices in this catalogue however Early Years Resources/M & S Mercantile reserves the right to amend, change or cancel product prices without prior notice.
New customers/ Non Account Holders
Private individuals are required to pay for goods at the time of ordering. Private establishments are required to pay for their first order. Payment can be made using any major debit/credit cards, BACS or cheque. Please make cheques payable to Early Years Resources.
Account Facility
Where a credit facility has been agreed payment of invoices is due strictly within 30 days. We only invoice for products that have been delivered. Any product that is out of stock at the time of dispatch will be marked on the customer invoice 'to follow' and will be charged separately. Non payment of invoices may result in the account being placed on hold and any credit facility withdrawn.
Placing Orders
Orders can be made via our website, telephone, email, fax or post. If an order is duplicated Early Years Resources will not be held responsible if an order has been placed with us more than once. When an order is placed please ensure that the correct product code is used to guarantee the correct item is ordered for you.
Title of Goods
The ownership of goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment of the appropriate invoice has been received in full.

Shipping And Handling
Delivery (Mainland UK)
All orders placed over the total value of £150.00, excluding VAT will be delivered free of charge. Orders with an order total of under £150.00, excluding VAT will be subject to a £5.95 carriage charge. Furniture, large play equipment etc. may incur an additional delivery charge. If this is the case the customer will be contacted prior to processing the order.
Delivery (Outside Mainland UK)
Orders placed for delivery outside mainland UK will be subject to a minimum carriage charge of £25.00. Each order will be reviewed on an individual basis and if the carriage charge exceeds £25.00 the customer will be contacted.
Our 2 Day Delivery service
Your order will be processed immediately upon receipt and goods which are in stock will be dispatched within approximately 2 working days. This does not include made to order products. At times of high demand the delivery timescale may have to be extended, however we will endeavour at all times to meet our estimated timescale of 2 days. Early Years Resources will not accept liability for loss, damages or expenses arising from the delayed delivery of any goods. Please contact our Customer Care Team for further details.
Express Delivery
This can be offered as an optional extra at a charge of £10.00 plus VAT. Opting for this will ensure goods, if in stock will be dispatched within 24 hours of us receiving your order. To qualify orders must be received before 10am, if not the order will be dispatched the next working day.
Made to Order
Some products in our catalogue may come directly from our manufacturers and some products may be made to order with a delivery timescale of approx 2-30 days. In both instances this will be indicated on your sales invoice.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Refused Delivery
If a delivery is refused once it has left our warehouse Early Year Resources reserves the right to charge for the cost of delivery and the cost of returning the goods to our warehouse, the minimum charge is £15.00. To assist with deliveries during school holidays please indicate opening times when placing orders.
Claims
Our Customer Care Team must be notified of short deliveries / damaged goods / faulty goods within 48 hours of receipt of goods. A signature made against a delivery is confirmation that the goods have been received as stated on the invoice. Claims outside this timeframe will not be accepted. Each claim is individually investigated. If it is found that goods have been damaged in transit, the goods will be replaced. However, if the replacement is refused and cancelled by the customer cancellation charges will apply.
Please do not sign for the delivery of goods unless you have carefully examined them for damage or missing products.

Back Orders It is our policy to deliver orders complete and carry 95% of all catalogue products in stock only 5% of our products is on a direct delivery basis . If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you, and send it to you when instock.
It is always a good idea to contact our office after about 10 days to get uptodate information regarding the back orders. |

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added where applicable and also applies to carriage charges.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
***IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***
Please be aware - we have recently introduced a new secure method of taking your payment this is called 3D Secure, some times it is refered to as chip and pin for the web. This will require the customer to create a password for future tranactions. This is the way forward with many banks, and is just another way of ensuring that your payment method is secured. The 3D secure will appear after you have entered your card details into the Protx/Sage Pay payment system. Returns Policy
Returns
Goods should not be returned without first contacting our Customer Care team. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis. Should an item need to be returned it must be returned in its original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. To make a return there will be a minimum £25.00 collection fee as well as a 15% administration charge plus VAT. This charge may vary if made to order items are being returned. If the customer wants to return goods at their own cost the Customer Care Team must first be notified for instructions to be given. We will not accept goods returned without prior authorisation, if this occurs the customer will still be charged for the goods. Where an item is faulty we reserve the right to first repair or replace. If this is not possible a credit may be issued. For further details please contact our Customer Care Team.
Cancellation
Cancellation of orders will be accepted providing the goods have not yet been dispatched from our warehouse, or in the case of made to order items, the goods have not left our supplier warehouse or production has not started. If goods have been dispatched then the returns policy will apply.

Remittance Terms Private individuals and establishments: please make payment with your first order. We accept cheque, credit / debt card or BACS payments.
Schools, hospitals and local authorities: please include an official purchase order number
Account facility of 30 days is available on request. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
Overdue Accounts: Late payments of 30 days or more - the company reserves the right to charge back for any discounts or free products that have been issued.
